Mother Earth is a brand that was created out of love and respect for our planet. For our home, for our Mother Earth. Before the brand was created, we had already lived by clear principles - we always made sure that our planet was taken care of, we did not want to pollute it, we followed the recycling rules. Where does this approach come from? The Earth is our home, our place, so we want it to last as long as possible, so that we can breathe fresh air for as long as possible. We want to enjoy our common company on a healthy, life-filled planet.
We have always wanted to create clothes, because it is our passion. They had to be comfortable, made of breathable fabrics. Such that everyone could feel comfortable in them. We wanted them to be of good quality, to be worn for as long as possible - therefore, they also had to be timeless.
We decided to combine the dreams of clothes and the long life of our Mother Earth. In this way we created a brand that is also our way of caring for the planet. This is how Mother Earth was created.
From the very beginning, we have been guided by three principles that we strictly adhere to: high quality clothing, ecological and recycled materials, and a transparent production process.
Why are these issues important to us? Because they help us take care of the environment.
High quality materials mean that the clothes can be used for a very long time. With good quality, we extend their life. Our clothes do not pille, because in the production of sweatshirt fabric we used special enzymatic treatment, which eliminates this effect. Knitwear is thick, thick, has a strong weave. They are made of the highest quality cotton. However, in order for the material to maintain its good shape for as long as possible, we have to add a bit of polyester to it - but it is not just any polyester - it is recycled polyester.
Why do we emphasize so much that our polyester comes from the second cycle? Because there is already a lot of waste in the world, and we do not want to produce more of it. We turn it into something new! Thanks to this, waste is transformed into new fibers, which we use to strengthen the knitwear. Another advantage of recycled polyester is the fact that its processing uses significantly less energy and chemicals than its production.
Our knitwear is GOTS certified - we will never move away from this. This certification means that the material must meet several conditions - it must be made of at least 70% organic fibers. The water cycle during production must be closed - this allows water savings. GMOs cannot be used in production, and the cultivation of flax, cotton, etc. must be organic.
In addition, our knitwear is produced in the best factories. We supervise the production process ourselves. We call the knitwear our "flagship" because it is made only for us and on our special order. They are very soft and fleshy. They have a so-called diagonal weave, which makes the knitwear even more resistant to stretching and keeps its shape longer. This weave also creates an interesting effect. And that's not the end of the advantages! Our flagship knitwear is finished with a loop on the bottom, which is slightly scratched, which gives it softness. It has a delicate, pleasant fluff that is nice to the skin. And on the right side we use the peach skin effect - that is, the knitwear is finished with a delicate hair, just like peach skin! You have to touch it! The knitwear is breathable, elastic and very durable.
Our collections are minimalist. This is because we want clothes to match each other. You can create endless combinations and styles from them. Thanks to this, they become timeless and suitable for many occasions. They are durable, so you can have them in your wardrobe for many years and they will still be fashionable - because fashion is quality and style! This approach also allows you to avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. We also encourage you not to throw away our clothes, but to introduce them into the second circulation!
It may seem that minimalism means boredom... Nothing could be further from the truth. We try to make every piece of clothing stand out. Everything is refined down to the smallest detail. The clothes have beautiful details, such as lacing on the back, a deep, nicely finished neckline, or a delicate slit on the side. We design and produce everything with care and love. We make clothes that we would like to wear ourselves. Without exception!
Why are we telling you all this? Because we have nothing to hide. Quite the opposite! We want to show you what solutions we use, what is important to us and why. We want you to be conscious consumers for whom the mission of protecting our planet is just as important as it is for us!
